Co-extruded WPC cladding is produced by a two-layer co-extrusion process. The core substrate is ordinary wood-plastic composite, and the outer layer is a high-performance polymer protective shell extruded integrally. The outer skin is tightly bonded to the base material without peeling.
Strong weather resistance: The co-extruded outer layer effectively blocks UV rays, greatly reducing fading, cracking and aging outdoors.
Qualified co-extruded WPC uses synchronous hot co-extrusion technology. The outer layer and inner base fuse together at high temperature into one whole piece. Proper installation under normal outdoor conditions will not cause delamination. Delamination only occurs on low-quality products with poor raw materials and immature processes.
High-quality co-extruded shells are added with UV stabilizers and anti-aging additives. Only slight color change will appear in long-term sun exposure, which is far milder than traditional single-layer WPC. We can offer different anti-fade grades for coastal and high-sun areas.
Yes. The dense outer layer resists salt spray, sea moisture and mildew. It is widely used for seaside villas, coastal boardwalks and waterfront buildings. We recommend choosing the enhanced anti-corrosion formula for coastal projects.
Yes. WPC material expands and contracts with temperature changes. A 3–5mm gap must be left between panels horizontally and vertically to avoid arching and deformation.
Daily dust: Rinse with clean water.
Stains and mud: Scrub with soft brush and neutral detergent, then flush.
Common options: wood grain embossed, brushed matte, smooth solid surface.
Most products reach Class B fire resistance. We can provide test reports and adjust the flame-retardant formula to meet local building fire codes upon request.
Absolutely. You can cut co-extruded WPC cladding with ordinary woodworking saws. The cut section only exposes the inner WPC core; you can cover it with end caps to prevent water absorption.
